Valerie Bertinelli was on “The Bonnie Hunt Show” this morning. As expected, the conversation turned to Bertinelli’s resurrection as a skinny woman and her association with the weight loss program, Jenny Craig.
Almost inevitably talk moved on to the subject of Kirstie Alley, who was also a spokesman for Jenny Craig until she ballooned up again. Bertinelli told Hunt that, “I wish everyone would just leave Kirstie alone,” or words to that effect.
Come on Ms. Betinelli, when a person presents herself as a roly-poly fat woman on a semi-scripted reality show called "Kirstie Alley's Big Life," making big bucks in the process, it’s a little disingenuous to portray her as a victim.
The 800 pound gorilla in the room will be noticed.
