A couple of weeks ago, I fell on my behind and injured my coccyx, which the doctor says may take months to heal.
It sounds like a dirty word but according to traditional science, it's the vestigial tail left behind when humans no longer had use for a tail, like the appendix and tonsils.
To creationists, though, it's apparently just an unneeded part put there as a test of faith to Biblical literalists, in the tradition of fossils.
Whatever the reason for its existence, an injured coccyx hurts almost as much as a broken rib and I will try to avoid doing it again -- though to be fair, I didn't do it on purpose this time.
